My journey -
Part 1
While I sat panicking in my office one evening before I was about to begin my trip, all I could think of was the amount of work I needed to complete and if I had forgotten about something that I shouldn’t. The constant chatter of my thoughts kept me a lot in the moment and fast aslee p in the air plane. I reached Delhi at the dawn of early sunrise. As I stepped out of the airport - the cold fresh air made me feel alive, and the pollution kept me in reality.

I reached the Lotus Temple after a hectic metro ride, and a long waited short auto journey. It felt like I had been invited by god to visit this beautiful place. As I watched the trees swaying with the calming breeze. Carmel showed up, bringing along with her a breath of energy. She welcomed me with warmth and took me for a tour in the museum that showed the lives of the manifestations. I was in awe. I have always been very fond of history and the way things evolve. As I walked towards the temple, guided by Sanjana to take me around, I was reminded of my college days, where we senators would walk with the exact same dignity. We walked differently, I knew how Sanjana felt being there. Later during the day - I came in here, meditated and my mind felt calm but still running. While exiting an older lady stopped me and asked if I wanted to chant a prayer with her. As she began, the words of the prayer from the echos of the temple pierced through my mind and heart, tears just rolled down from my eyes. My emotional state was so overwhelmed with love for god, it felt like nothing in the world could ever give me the same feeling.
As I walked out the gates of the Lotus Temple, my love for god grew, I felt an entirely new strong positive energy vibrating inside me, and it felt like the calm the temple had, reflected inside me. I felt different, those few brief moments were something that I never felt before. Some places have power the power this place had was to transfer fresh energy into life that entered. The tall windows that brought in beautiful sunlight, the golden top with manifestations name carved, the large room, the water, the sunset. It was as If the sunset chose to set behind the lotus temple because of its beauty.
When have you felt another energy this pure touch your heart?
